I am in my last year as an undergraduate student at NYU studying Psychology. I just finished your book “Your Brain on Sex”, and, to put it plainly, I want to do what you and your daughter do. I am an aspiring Sex Therapist, and I had to contact you to ask if you had any information, or advice on how I could get the best education in the field! I would really appreciate any advice that you could give me!

I ran across your sight from The honest courtesan, I as so glad to have found a sight written about sexuality from a man. It might sound sexist but most sights out there{Wonderful sex/positive ladies as they are) still miss some of the finer male points. There still seems to be so much man bashing in mainstream news and the general public , i more will read your fair open analise of sexuality for both genders.

I worked ther for W. Jolly for about two years. I now teach were you taught. Currently I am developing programs for veterans.

I highly apreciate your knowledge on sexual behaviour. I was married for years with a female psychyologist and she was a Freudian one too. Had gone through selfanalysis and practised as a psychoanalytic Freudian. I was a narrow minded man, with not much experience. When one late evening, I just wanted to carry out my ordinary, missionary sexual position to please myself. She told me to show her, how I did to please myself in her abscence. There is so much nice two people can do, she said. Let´s try it out and you can be the man, I really want you to be.

Much comes across to me as what one refers to as scientific myopia! An industry that has forgotten its objectives. Just like the state has in many instances or society often does! As individuals that created them for certain reasons. That process is what marked and continues to mark modernity for many! The Indus Valley Civilization (some 4000 years BCE with about two and half centuries of mature existence) marks the same for me! In sputters and coughs its heritages remain…obviously non-identity marking incase present day Indians or Pakistanis assume to lay claim to it or the Yogic-Tantric system as theirs: reason being that in & by 2013 CE, both the states have been unable to build a single township (excluding British built or French built ones: some say including those too but I am unsure)whose drainage system betters the ones of the Indus Valley Civilization! Leave alone town-planning! Regards!

Revisiting your site today I found the contact me section. I wanted to share with you this inspirational documentary by Kristen DiAngelo called ‘American Courtesans’. It releases today (7/12/13) on DVD and Blueray, iTunes, and on-demand.
Kristen got 10 other female sex workers together and made a documentary about their experience from early childhood trauma to entrance into the field and the trauma that they did or did not survive to the healing that they have provided and received through doing sex work. I thought you might like to know about it.

I found you through a search I have been doing for other sex positive therapists. I needed some inspiration because sometimes, it can get a little strange out here. Some therapists tout themselves as sex positive when what they mean is mainstream sex positive. But I guess everyone has to start somewhere.
Also, I want to thank you for the work that you do. Thank you for the healing and education and awareness that you provide.

I enjoyed reading some of your work and appreciate your much needed messages on challenging social norms and connecting to deeper authentic aspects of our own identity. My research is on non-binary relationships, specifically polyfidelity and group relationship dynamics.
